2) Austenitic:- The most common group of stainless steel, austenitic micro is derived from the combination of nickel, manganese and nitrogen. Its structure is ideal for welding and forming. Some examples where austenitic steels can be used in basket cookware and washing machine.
3) Martensitic:- It’s similar as ferritic steel, because they are based on chromium. However, they have a high carbon content. This allows them to harden and temper. Martensitic more commonly found in the product longer than in the sheet and plate forms, and they have generally low weldability and formability.
4) Duplex:- The duplex steel structure is about half of like 50% composition of ferritic and austenitic steel, which gives them a higher power than the one of their steel. They are resistant to stress corrosion cracking and weldable and magnetic. Duplex may be used in pipes and architectural structures.
